Horses for loan

Loaning is an ideal way to try out horse ownership without the commitment of buying a horse. Horses and ponies on loan from Riding Farm remain at our premises for the duration of the loan. The loaner pays for the costs of stabled or grass livery, shoeing and worming. The loaner also needs to have personal accident insurance cover.

The horses we loan remain for sale during the loan period, but we always give the loaner first refusal to purchase. Many of the horses we have available for loan are currently used on our riding school.

Annie

15.3hh 6 year old coloured mare
Annie is a responsive, forward going horse who is very popular on the riding school. She would be a brilliant first horse as she is very gentle and easy to handle.

Martha is an attractive mare that is currently being schooled and produced by James and Sally. She is showing huge potential. She would suit a competitive rider who is looking for their first sports horse. More information and photos

Serena

14hh 7 year old black mare
Currently used on our riding school, this lovely looking mare is a forward going, fun ride. She is very comfortable, enjoys jumping and is a brilliant hack. Serena is quiet to handle and loves a lot of attention! More information and photos

Bram

16hh 6 year old brown gelding
Bram is a really good looking horse with a huge amount of presence about him. Currently used on our riding school, he is a forward going, powerful ride and would suit a rider of Grade 3 standard or above. More information and photos

Briar

11.2hh 7 year old spotted gelding
This very cute, little gelding has a wonderful temperament and would be a brilliant first pony. He is a safe, forward-going ride on or off the lead rein. Briar is currently used on our riding school. More information and photos
