Grading system

We run our very own grading system for riding school and livery clients. Complete beginners start at Grade 0 on the lead rein and work their way up, with assessments for each grade. Our top level is Grade 7, for riders who show jump at a high level.

New clients undergo a Graded Assessment so that they can be assured of an appropriate ride for their ability. Rosettes are awarded for all successful assessments from Grade 1 onwards and we also offer specially-tailored events for all grades.

Grade 7

Grade 7 is our highest level and these assessments are taken by Sally or James Gosling. There's no need to book a separate Grade 7 assessment lesson - you can simply request to take your Grade 7 assessment as part of a normal teaching session with Sally or James.
