Horse transport

James and Sally Gosling are both highly experienced in transporting horses and the Riding Farm horse transport service has a full operator's licence. James is our main driver and has held an LGV Class 1 licence for 18 years. He has UK Animal Transporter Authorisation from DEFRA and also holds a British Horseracing Education & Standards Trust equine transport qualification. Sally holds an LGV Class 2 licence and provides driving support on longer journeys.

Our lorry

The Riding Farm lorry easily accommodates up to 12 horses. Internal partitions mean that horses travel comfortably and are able to arrive at their destination stress-free. The lorry also features a CCTV monitoring system.

Show transport

We travel year-round to BSJA affiliated and unaffiliated show jumping competitions throughout Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Show grounds that we visit regularly include Felbridge, Limes Farm, Golden Cross, Merrist Wood, Duckhurst and Cranleigh. View upcoming show dates

Although priority is given to our livery clients, we do occasionally have extra spaces available which we offer to horse owners in the local area. If you live near Riding Farm and wish to be considered for a place on our lorry for an upcoming show, please contact James Gosling.
